Consulting
I’m a seasoned communicator, researcher, and analyst with hands-on experience in post-conflict governance and administration, refugee return, and the transition from emergency to development assistance. I have spent a good deal of the past decade helping organizations give shape to their ideas through grant applications, donor reports, evaluations, and research reports. My geographical area of specialization is the Western Balkans.
I’m approaching ten years of experience in humanitarian project management both at headquarters and in the field, first as a staff member of the International Rescue Committee in New York and Sarajevo and then as a consultant for project cycle management. As a consultant, I have worked extensively with UNDP, the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, CHF International, and other development organizations.
I’m available for short- to medium-term consultancies.
Hey, is this the Toby Vogel I was stuck on a plane with for two days going to Sarajevo back in 1998?
I read your piece recently in RFE/RL and thought I’d give you a shout. It’s been too long and it would be great to catch up. I’m still here in Oakland, California. Running PR for a college district and their TV and radio stations. Still keep a finger in the UN and balkans.
Write back if it’s you.
All the best, Jeff
